Hello Lovers!
I see you've had a peek at the directory, and you have a few questions. You've come to the right place, so grab a cuppa and check out some of the frequently asked questions (FAQ) below.
How did the directory come about?
It came from my very own wedding planning experience when I realised there was not one central place we could go to seek out vendors in the Canterbury region. So I thought hey, let's change that!
What are your beliefs around the directory?
Well, of course I think it's some of my best work! But I wholeheartedly believe that you can find the very best, top quality at differing price points, and true to a style that suits you. I have, and will always continue to capture this.
I was expecting more vendors on here, what’s going on?
I hit the “live” button by mistake... Kidding. If I waited until I had all the vendors I could think of, the website would never go live! Christchurch Weddings has a great base and the directory will always continue to grow and evolve into something truly special.
I thought my favourite Canterbury vendor would feature on here, where are they?
This could be for any number of reasons, maybe:
They haven’t returned my phone calls or emails *AWKWARD* but it happens!
We’ve been emailing back and forth and haven’t found a time to meet yet, don’t worry - they will be coming!
I haven’t come across them yet. If you think that is the case let me know who they are and why they are amazing and I’ll get in touch.
We have spoken and they, or I have decided that this is not the right platform to feature them in.
How can I connect with these vendors?
They’re just normal people with magical minds running at a million miles an hour - Just like the rest of us! Engage with them on the socials, flick them an email via their website link, or get to know them a little by reading the interviews I’ll be posting over on the blog.
How does the vendor process work?
Each vendor has been picked out amongst the masses by yours truly and I absolutely adore their work. We’ve emailed back and forth to find the perfect time to meet over a coffee or wine (read: mainly wine) and taken the time to get a crash course on each others businesses. If we’re both on the same wavelength then it’s all steam ahead to get the new superstar on the directory as quickly as we can. Nice, easy, simple as that!
