Connaire and Tyson

Our Love Story

We have had a bit of a whirlwind romance! Tyson and I met in 2018 by way of a blind date and instantly clicked. By 2020 welcomed our baby girl to the world which soon was followed by our engagement after the first lockdown in 2020. We sealed the deal on our marriage in 2022!

Our Proposal

Tyson proposed at home in the kitchen, having chosen a ring as soon as the shops reopened after lockdown. If we could survive lockdown with a newborn we could survive anything!

Our Wedding Planning

We wanted our day to be as relaxed as possible and really appreciated having people we knew involved in bringing the day together as much as possible, which made the planning process a breeze. The team at Stonebridge made it so easy and as their venue is so stunning we found that it only needed a few tiny touches for it to look good!

Our Wedding Day

We had a late ceremony and photos beforehand, it was the most perfect Autumn day - 20 degrees and sunny. We really enjoyed hanging out with our guests after the ceremony and not rushing off to get photos. Having our daughter there with us was so great, she was a little trooper and had the best time during the day. We also had a Bride's Family vs Groom's Family boat race at the reception which was impromptu but a real hoot. The meal was delicious and the music was great, all ingredients for a perfect day.

Our Advice

Try to relax as much as you can during the day, it goes so fast! And don't sweat the small stuff.

Our Stand Out Vendors

We had as many people help us out as we could, so the very talented Mairead who I’ve known for a very long time did the amazing florals, we had my University friend Olivia as our celebrant, our cake was made by one of my students. We also rave about our photos as Jess did an amazing job capturing the day.
