Entries to the giveaway are made either through registration on the Christchurch Weddings Limited website only

Entries are restricted to residents of New Zealand.

To enter the giveaway you and your partner must:
• be over the age of 18 and each be legally entitled to marry; and
• not already be a married couple. The competition does not cover ‘renewal of vow’ ceremonies or celebrations.

Christchurch Weddings Limited reserves the right to reject entries from entrants not entering into the spirit of the competition including but not limited to entrants having no genuine and sustained intention to marry a specified named individual on the date of the wedding being 27th July 2019

By entering the competition you are agreeing to receive marketing and other communications from Christchurch Weddings Limited.

Christchurch Weddings Limited reserves the right to exclude entries where all valid information has not been entered on the competition entry screens and/or entry forms.

No responsibility can be accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed in the post, or due to computer error in transit.

To be eligible to win the competition you must have also subscribed to the Christchurch Weddings database and followed Christchurch Weddings on Instagram.

The winning entry (hereafter referred to as the Winner) will be chosen no later than February 28th 2019 from all valid entries received. In the case of dispute the decision of the Christchurch Weddings Limited owner Lucy Magill shall be final and binding.

If the Winner cannot be contacted or successful contact is not made within a reasonable time period or if the Winner fails to provide an address for delivery of products associated with this giveaway or fails to meet any of the eligibility requirements or is otherwise unable to comply with the terms and conditions, it may result in forfeiture of the prize and Christchurch Weddings Limited reserves the right to disqualify that entrant (without further liability to that entrant) and offer the prize to the next eligible entrant and thereafter until a winner is found.

Some prizes do have time constraints on them. Christchurch Weddings Limited is not liable nor needs to provide a suitable alternative if the Winner does not organise their prize in time. Should this instance occur, the Winner forfeits their prize.

The Winner agrees to the use of his or her and his or her partner’s name, photograph and disclosure of county of residence and both will co-operate with any other reasonable requests by Christchurch Weddings Limited and associated vendors relating to any post-winning publicity including but not limited to attending all interviews, photo and video shoots and content creation with each supplier to discuss their respective prizes as is necessary for press coverage.

Any entrant and/or Winner must comply with any directions given to him or her by Christchurch Weddings Limited, associated vendors and/or their agents and with all relevant laws, rules and regulations, restrictions, and itinerary. Failure to comply with instructions, itineraries, rules, restrictions, requirements, laws and guidelines may result in an invalid entry and/or forfeiture of the prizes.

As an entrant, the Winner confirms that any guests under 18 will be accompanied by their immediate family, being their legal guardian.

As an entrant, the Winner will be require to disclose full legal names of their bridal party.

If you do not agree with any of these terms & conditions you should not take part in the competition.

Christchurch Weddings Limited reserves the right to amend these terms & conditions at any time without prior notice. Any amendments will be published on www.christchurchweddings.co. You are advised to regularly check the website for any changes.

Christchurch Weddings Limited reserves the right at any time to cancel, modify or supersede the competition in any manner whatsoever if, at its sole discretion, it should decide the competition is not capable of being conducted as specified.

Christchurch Weddings Limited reserves the right ask entrants for evidence to verify the conditions in paragraphs 2, 3 and 4 above and also to use whatever methods it considers appropriate to carry out such verification. The giveaway may be withheld until this verification is satisfactorily completed. Failure to provide satisfactory evidence may result in forfeiture of the giveaway without further liability to that entrant.

Use of a false name or address will result in disqualification.

All entries must be made directly by the person entering the competition.

Entries made online using methods generated by a script, macro or the use of automated devices will be void.

If you are chosen as the winner, you accept that you cannot forfeit your winning prizes once planning commences.

The overall giveaway is made up of a number of prizes consisting of a variety of products and/or services provided by a range of suppliers and these products and services are specific to those suppliers rather than generic. For example, a part of the overall prize may be the provision of flowers by Sample Florist Ltd specifically, rather than the provision of flowers in general from a florist of the Winner’s choice. This is non-negotiable.

All giveaway prizes are subject to availability and the associated vendors terms and conditions which it is your responsibility to check and you will be required to sign any associated agreements or contracts with each associated vendor where applicable. Failure to sign may result in refusal of product or service.

Any particular prize is subject to the Wedding date of July 27th 2019 and Christchurch Weddings Limited accepts no responsibility or liability in the event of an act of god. In the event or an act of god, Christchurch Weddings Limited and associated vendors will do their best to reschedule in goodwill. In this instance, not all vendors may be available in the secondary date. Christchurch Weddings will attempt to find replacement vendors in this instance but this is subject to availability and Christchurch Weddings limited is not binded by these terms and conditions to provide alternates for all prizes.

All products and services provided as prizes under the competition will only apply to the winning couples wedding, held on July 27th 2019. This date is not transferrable.

Some items associated with the giveaway will be subject to availability and Christchurch Weddings and associated vendors reserve the right to make alternative arrangements.

The products and services forming this giveaway have been agreed in good faith by Christchurch Weddings Limited with the associated vendors. Christchurch Weddings accepts no liability or responsibility for the provision of or failure to provide products and/or services from an associated vendor, but will attempt to rectify a situation in this instance, all in good faith.

The Winner must pay for any aspects of the wedding not specifically stated as part of the giveaway, including associated costs for extra guest numbers over 60, but limited to 80 people.

The Winner is responsible for expenses and arrangements not specifically included in the prizes, including any necessary documents.

The Winner agrees to address any claims in respect of any prize direct with the relevant prize supplier.

The giveaway applies only to the Winner or his/her partner and are not transferrable to any third party.

No cash or product alternative will be provided. However, some individual giveaway prizes may be substituted for a suitable alternative at Christchurch Weddings Limited and the associated vendors discretion.

Products and/or services forming the giveaway will be delivered in Christchurch only, or at Christchurch Weddings Limited discretion.

Christchurch Weddings Limited is not accountable for any form of injury that occurs as a result of pursuing any prize associated with this giveaway.

Failure to sign any relevant documentation may result in forfeiture of the giveaway or areas of the giveaway without further liability to that entrant.

Your wedding ceremony contains information that is confidential and is intended for their viewing only. It is strictly prohibited that it be copied or disclosed to any other parties.

Each vendor has specified terms and conditions and where there is a limit on physical numbers, people, dollar values and discounts, these have been clearly outlined. As entrants, you acknowledge and accept these conditions and agree to pay for anything over and above these amounts as quoted.

Christchurch Weddings and associated vendors with this giveaway reserve the final rights to make decisions regarding this event in the best interests of all parties involved.

Photographers, videographers, planners, stylists and vendors associated with Christchurch Weddings could take part in capturing any given consultation or vendor meetings, creating advertising, marketing and promotional material. You will have prior communication, full briefings and confirmations before entering into these meetings.

The Winner acknowledges and accepts that all photo and video content taken during this period and on your wedding day can be used by any vendor associated with this giveaway for future promotional, advertising and marketing material. Where applicable, you will be required to sign standard agreements and contracts with individual vendors associated with this giveaway. This will be required for photography, videography, catering, hire items, planning and any other contracts put forward by vendors associated with this giveaway .

During the giveaway campaign there will be various imagery used. Unless it is specified that the prize directly correlates to the image, images depicted in advertising are not representative of any prize.

All prize values listed are inclusive of GST unless otherwise specified.
