Welcome to Christchurch Weddings

Hello Lovers, and welcome to Christchurch Weddings! It’s been almost a year in the making and I am so over the moon that I can finally share it with you!

It’s no secret that the idea of Christchurch Weddings was born out of a Queenstown wedding - and my Queenstown wedding at that. I developed the idea after finding through my own trial and error that there was not one place for Canterbury couples to go when it came to planning their big day. It felt like a blind eye was turned to our little part of paradise, and I have put my heart and soul into changing that, discovering the best creative talent, products and services Canterbury has on offer - and I am so thrilled to be sharing it with you!

Weddings have forever been something special to me. There are no rules, no barriers to break - it's all about the couple who wed, and their vision of the perfect day. To me, it's about capturing that unique essence and creating a day that stops you in your tracks and makes your heart skip a beat.

My vision for Christchurch Weddings is that it will be the only place you will need to visit when it comes to planning your local wedding. Between the blog and the directory, I hope that your mind is filled to the brim with inspiration, your wedding "woes" be solved, and that your creative juices get following to create the kind of heart fluttering, jaw dropping day you've always dreamt of.
